J.Crew Factory is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our store leadership team. You will drive profitability through authentic customer connections, brand loyalty, and local community engagement while coaching the sales team for peak performance.

You will collaborate with other leaders to adapt strategies, ensure smooth operations, and deliver exceptional service across all store functions.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of retail management experience.
• Stay up-to-date with fashion trends and industry developments.
• Embrace teamwork, flexibility and courtesy while executing tasks.
• Scheduling flexibility including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch, lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Director & Associate Store Manager to impact business results and profitability.
• Own designated division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems and technology with accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, training and development efforts as needed.
• Collaborate to create a collaborative working environment for associates.
• Ensure the team exceeds goals and delivers best-in-class customer service.
• Lead product knowledge sessions to improve customer connections.
• Develop community engagement and loyalty through events.
• Step into various sales floor roles as needed.
