J.Crew Factory is hiring an Assistant Manager to join the leadership team and drive profitability through customer connections and brand loyalty. You will coach the sales team and collaborate with leadership to adapt strategies for success and ensure smooth operations.

You will lead a designated division, manage store operations, participate in recruiting and training, and empower associates to deliver outstanding service while supporting calendar flexibility, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years retail management experience and scope similar to the role.
• Passionately support our brand, customers, and teams.
• Scheduling flexibility including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Director & Associate Store Manager to impact business results with brand connection and profitability.
• Own your designated division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling, etc.).
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology while ensuring accountability.
• Assist Store Director & Associate Store Manager with recruiting, training and development.
• Partner with Store Director and Associate Store Manager to foster a collaborative working environment for all associates.
• Ensure the team is on track to exceed goals and provide best-in-class customer service.
• Lead fit sessions that boost product knowledge for associates to elevate authentic customer connection.
• Develop engaging community events to build loyalty.
• Step into various roles on the sales floor when needed.
