J.Crew Factory is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a store team and drive profitability through customer connections and brand loyalty. You will coach the sales staff, partner with leadership, and support onboarding and training efforts.

You will help optimize operations and merchandising while ensuring exceptional service. This role requires flexibility to cover nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail management experience.

• Stay up to date with current fashion trends and industry developments.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Director to impact business results and profitability.
• Own your designated division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology while ensuring accountability.
• Assist Store Director with recruiting, training and development efforts.
• Partner with Store Director and Associate Store Manager to curate a collaborative working environment for all associates.
• Ensure the team is always on track to exceed goals and provide best-in-class customer service.
• Lead fit sessions that boost product knowledge for associates to elevate authentic customer connection.
• Come up with innovative ways to engage the community and build loyalty through events.
• Can step into a variety of roles on the sales floor, if needed.
