J.Crew Factory is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our store leadership team. You’ll drive profitability through strong customer connections, brand loyalty, and community engagement while coaching the sales team for peak performance.

You’ll collaborate with the Store Director and leadership peers to align on strategies, oversee store operations, and ensure exceptional service. Flexibility for scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail management experience.
• Passionately support our brand, customers and teams.
• Stay up to date with fashion trends and industry developments.
• Embrace teamwork, flexibility and courtesy while executing tasks.
• Innovate and champion new ideas while navigating uncertainty.
• Scheduling flexibility, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must bend, reach, stretch for product and lift/move up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Director & Assistant Store Manager to impact business results with brand connection and profitability.
• Own designated division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems and technology with accountability.
• Assist recruiting, training and development efforts as needed.
• Collaborate with leaders to create a collaborative working environment for all associates.
• Ensure the team exceeds goals and provides best-in-class customer service.
• Lead fit sessions to boost product knowledge for authentic customer connections.
• Develop innovative ways to engage the community and build loyalty through events.
• Step into various roles on the sales floor as needed.
