Job summary

Goodwill-Industries-of-East-Texas,-In is seeking a store supervisor to manage the retail operation in the store manager's absence. The role includes supervising staff, educating customers about the organization’s mission, and meeting daily production and safety standards.

Responsibilities also cover enforcing security, achieving sales goals, and coordinating training and scheduling for 2 store managers and 8+ staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to present information to groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of proprietary software as needed.
• Must have TXDL driving record acceptable to the Agency automobile insurer and provide proof of insurance on personal vehicle.
• Bilingual skills a plus.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall operation and management of a retail store in the absence of the store manager.
• Educate customers about the mission and vision of the organization.
• Meet store production requirements and standards daily.
• Promote a safe working/shopping environment by following and enforcing safety policies.
• Assist in achieving monthly and yearly sales goals and scheduling store personnel.
