Job summary

Goodwill Industries Southern New England Inc is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, donations processing, pricing and sales. You will supervise store staff and community service workers, manage cash handling and reporting, and ensure safety and loss prevention compliance.

Weekend/evening hours are typical in retail. The role requires a high school diploma or GED with supervisory experience and proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook; strong customer service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus minimum two years supervisory experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations, donations processing, pricing and sales.
• Lead and supervise store staff and community service workers.
• Manage cash handling, reporting and bank deposits.
