J.Crew Group (JCG) is seeking an Assistant Manager to join the leadership team and drive profitability through authentic customer connections and strong brand loyalty. You will coach the sales team and collaborate with the broader leadership to adapt strategies and support daily operations.

You will guide a designated division, ensure exceptional service, and help recruit, train, and develop staff while maintaining store standards and community engagement.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years retail management experience.
• Passion for brand, customers and teams.
• Stay current with fashion trends.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Director and Associate Store Manager to drive profitability and brand connection.
• Own division: Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling.
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology with accountability.
• Assist recruiting, training and development when needed.
• Foster collaborative working environment among associates.
• Ensure the team exceeds goals and delivers best-in-class service.
• Lead product knowledge sessions to boost customer connection.
• Develop community engagement and loyalty through events.
• Step into various sales floor roles as needed.
