J.Crew is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead with customer connections, brand loyalty, and community engagement. You’ll coach the sales team, deliver immediate feedback, and work with the leadership team to adapt strategies and ensure smooth operations.

You will manage responsibilities across divisions, drive profitability, and help deliver best-in-class service while supporting store performance and community engagement.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail management experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Director & Associate Store Manager to impact business results and profitability.
• Own your division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology while ensuring accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, training and development efforts if needed.
• Partner with leadership to create a collaborative working environment for all associates.
• Ensure the team exceeds goals and provides best-in-class customer service.
• Lead fit sessions to boost product knowledge for authentic customer connection.
• Develop innovative ways to engage the community and build loyalty through events.
• Step into various roles on the sales floor as needed.
