Old Navy is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the store tone and drive profitable sales growth through customer-centric operations, merchandising, and talent development. You will coach Leads, Experts, and Brand Associates to deliver a best-in-class experience.

You will collaborate with the General Manager to execute the store strategy, train staff, and ensure compliance with procedures while promoting a fast-paced, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Effective communicator with customers and team.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Driven by metrics to meet goals.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, overnight and weekends.
• Able to maneuver on sales floor and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Support strategies to drive store sales and deliver results with a customer-centric mindset.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associates and Experts.
• Own assigned area of responsibility and execute action plans.
• Perform Service Leader duties and ensure SOPs are followed.
• Represent the brand and stay aware of retail competition.
• Promote community involvement and leverage omni-channel experience.
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and policies.
