Job summary

Old Navy is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the store tone, drive profitable sales growth, and coach a high-performing team. You will partner with the General Manager to execute store strategy, lead brand associates and experts, and deliver a best-in-class customer experience across merchandising, operations, and people development.

You will recruit and develop talent, optimize store processes, and ensure compliance while promoting community involvement and omni-channel excellence.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail management experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective communication with customers and team.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Driven by metrics to hit business goals.
• Leads and mentors team members.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, weekends.
• Able to use retail technology.
• Lift up to 30 pounds.
• Travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales and profitability through customer-centric strategies.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure consistent execution of standard operating procedures.
• Represent the brand and monitor competition and retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement.
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
