Job summary

Old Navy is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the store tone and lead the team in delivering a best-in-class customer experience. You will drive profitable sales through customer- and product-focused operations, merchandising, and talent development.

You will collaborate with the General Manager to coach Leads and Brand Associates, delivering top performance in a fast-paced environment while upholding brand standards and store strategy.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of retail management experience
• Excellent communication with customers and team
• Passionate about retail excellence and service
• Direct teams to achieve store goals and brand standards
• Ability to coach and mentor Leads and Brand Associates
• Willing to work holidays, evenings, overnights, weekends
• Able to use retail technology
• Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds
• Willingness to travel as required

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales and performance through customer-centric strategies
• Recruit, hire, and develop Brand Associates and Experts
• Own area of responsibility within the store
• Implement plans to maximize efficiency and productivity
• Perform Service Leader duties as needed
• Ensure consistent SOP execution
• Represent the brand and monitor competitive landscape
• Promote community involvement and omni-channel experiences
• Ensure compliance with company standards
