Job summary

Pure Hockey in Taylor, MI is seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, drive sales, merchandising standards, and lead a high-performing team to deliver exceptional service.

You will coach staff, manage openings and closings, set metrics with the Store Manager, and contribute to a positive, inclusive store environment. Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience and willingness to work evenings/weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management/supervisory experience.
• Retail management experience is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in merchandising, operations, sales and customer service.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction by product knowledge and teamwork.
• Conduct opening and closing operational routines.
• Partner with Store Manager to establish and communicate metrics and expectations.
• Coach, teach, train, and develop store associates.
• Act as a partner between customers, sales associates and leadership.
• Maintain awareness of product knowledge and current offerings.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
