Job summary

Pure Hockey in Needham Heights, MA, is seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to aid the Store Manager in all store operations. You will drive sales, mentor staff, manage inventory and ensure top-tier customer service in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role requires leadership, merchandising expertise and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Join a team focused on results, training, and a safe, welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management/supervisory experience; retail management experience a plus.
• Proven experience in a retail/customer service environment.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising techniques.
• Ability to train, coach, develop and motivate employees.
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in merchandising, operations, sales and customer service.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable on products and collaborating with coworkers.
• Partner with Store Manager to communicate key metrics, sales, visual, safety and training expectations.
• Assist in hiring, training and development of store employees.
• Maintain knowledge of products and upcoming releases.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Maintain a safe store environment for staff and customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
