Pure Hockey in Medford, MA is seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, sales, customer service, inventory control, and staff development. The ideal candidate brings at least 2 years of retail management experience, a proven ability to lead teams, train employees, and maintain merchandise standards while delivering exceptional service to every customer.

This role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a competitive benefits

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management/supervisory experience in retail.
• Proven retail/customer service experience.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising techniques.
• Ability to train, coach, develop and motivate employees.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in merchandising, operations, sales and customer service.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction with product knowledge and teamwork.
• Work with Store Manager to set and communicate metrics and expectations (sales, visuals, safety, payroll, training).
• Assist in hiring, training, and development of store staff.
• Maintain product knowledge of current/upcoming products.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Maintain a safe store environment for employees and customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
