J.Crew Factory is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our leadership team. You will drive profitability through genuine customer connections, brand loyalty, and strong community engagement, while coaching the sales team for peak performance.

You will assist the Store Director and Associate Store Manager across operations, HR, service and selling, ensuring accountability and a high standard of customer service. Flexibility to cover shifts is required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail management experience with a similar scope.
• Strong focus on customer engagement and brand standards.
• Ability to coach and develop sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Director & Associate Store Manager to impact business results and profitability.
• Own your division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology with accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, training, and development as needed.
• Collaborate with leadership to create a collaborative working environment.
• Lead product knowledge sessions to boost customer connection.
• Develop community engagement and loyalty initiatives.
• Step into various roles on the sales floor when needed.
