J.Crew Factory is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our store leadership team, driving profitability through genuine customer connections and brand loyalty. You’ll coach the sales team, collaborate with leadership to adapt strategies, and ensure smooth operations wherever needed.

You will partner with leadership to recruit, train, and develop associates while delivering exceptional service and a positive store environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail management experience.
• Strong coaching and feedback skills.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Passion for fashion and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Director and Associate Store Manager to impact profitability.
• Own your division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems and technology with accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, training and development as needed.
• Partner to create a collaborative working environment for all associates.
• Ensure the team exceeds goals and delivers best-in-class customer service.
• Lead product knowledge sessions to elevate customer connections.
• Create community engagement and loyalty through events.
• Entertain flexibility to step into various sales floor roles.
