Job summary

Gap Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager in Fort Lauderdale to set the store tone and lead a high‑performing team. You will drive profitable sales, oversee customer and product operations, merchandising and talent development, and collaborate with the General Manager to implement the store strategy.

You will coach Leads, Experts and Brand Associates to deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience, with a focus on traffic, conversion and productivity in a fastpaced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Current or former retail employee with 1‑3 years of retail management experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, overnight and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales through a customer-centric mindset.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure consistent execution of standard operating procedures.
• Represent the brand and understand the retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement.
• Leverage omni‑channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
• Ensure all compliance standards are met.
