Job summary

Gap Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager in Miami, FL to set the tone for the store and lead the team in delivering a best-in-class customer experience. You will drive profitable sales through customer service, product operations, merchandising, and talent development.

Collaborating with the General Manager, you will coach Leads and Brand Associates, execute the store strategy, and ensure standards, omni-channel initiatives, and community involvement are carried out.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience required (1-3 years).
• Excellent communication skills with customers and team.
• Passionate about retail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Metrics-driven to achieve business goals.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, overnights and weekends.
• Experience using retail technology and POS systems.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and move around the store.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support strategies and processes to drive store sales and deliver results.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associates and Experts.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
