Macy's is seeking an Asset Protection Detective for the Southshore region. You will help protect assets, reduce shortage, and support a safe shopping environment using surveillance and investigations in collaboration with store teams and law enforcement.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Experience in retail, asset protection, security, investigations, or law enforcement is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Identify theft, dishonest activity, and shortage trends using surveillance and reporting systems.
• Support investigations with store teams and law enforcement; prepare clear documentation.
• De-escalate situations, maintain a safe shopping environment, and train colleagues on protocols.
• Prepare timely reports related to incidents, investigations, audits, and activities.
• Respond to alarms, assist with special assignments, and participate in team readiness.
