Qualifications

• Ability to observe, identify, and respond to suspicious activity in a retail environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with customers, colleagues, leaders, and law enforcement.
• Ability to use sound judgment, de-escalation tools, and company procedures to support a safe environment.
• Ability to handle proprietary, sensitive, and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
• For jobs in New York, a current New York State Security Guard License is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify theft, dishonest activity, and shortage trends using surveillance and reporting systems.
• Partner with Asset Protection leaders, store teams, and law enforcement to support investigations and protect assets.
• Prepare clear documentation and evidence to support investigations and legal proceedings.
• Train colleagues on protocols that protect company assets.
• Identify, investigate, and respond to incidents to reduce losses and ensure safety.
