Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a defined store area and oversee operations in Laurel, MD. You will open/close the store, supervise Associates, and ensure a welcoming, well-merchandised retail environment.

Key duties include maintaining safety, enhancing customer service, and executing merchandising standards while driving efficiency and compliance with company policies.

Competenze

• Excellent verbal communication; fluent English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with POS equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic math in retail settings.
• Able to work evenings and weekends.

Mansioni

• Open and close store; supervise associates as Manager on Duty.
• Maintain safe, secure shopping environment; address unsafe conditions.
• Ensure merchandise presentation and clean work areas.
• Train and coach Associates on cash registers and front-end procedures.
• Assist with loss prevention and inventory control.
• Payroll, scheduling, and other administrative duties as assigned.
