Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to oversee a defined store area and assist the Store Manager in daily operations. You will open/close the store, supervise Associates, ensure a clean, welcoming environment, and maintain proper merchandise presentation.

You will also lead safety, loss prevention, and front-end procedures while supporting merchandising, stockroom management, and on‑the‑floor customer service. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and supervise Associates as needed.
• Maintain a friendly, easy-to-shop environment and ensure proper merchandise presentation.
• Lead safety practices, loss prevention, and daily store operations.
• Supervise front-end processes, maintain checkout efficiency, and manage breaks and scheduling.
• Assist in merchandising, floor moves, and stockroom organization.
