Job summary

Restorative CNA - Wellness Instructor at Aegis Therapies in Kapolei, HI is a role within the Rehab Therapy Team. You will deliver wellness, fitness and exercise programs to residents in a Rehabilitation Center, Skilled Nursing Facility, and Senior Care setting under the Director of Rehabilitation / Therapy.

No restorative experience is required beyond CNA certification; onsite restorative training is provided.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required (state practiced)
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Specialty certification as personal trainer or fitness/instructor preferred
• Background in exercise and activity training with senior populations preferred

Responsibilities

• Report to the Director of Rehabilitation / Therapy and work with the therapy team to provide wellness, fitness and exercise programs
• Receive full restorative training onsite
• Assist in restorative care of patients as directed
• Exclusive restorative responsibilities (ambulation, transfer training, bed mobility, ROM, dressing/grooming, splint/prosthesis care) with limited or none of the less desirable CNA tasks

Working with the Rehab Therapy Team Job Type: PRN Schedule: As needed Setting: Rehabilitation Center, Skilled Nursing Facility, Senior Care Wellness Location: Kapolei, HI 96707 Pay: $18-$22

As a CNA/Wellness Instructor for Restorative Care, you will: Report to the Director of Rehabilitation / Therapy and work exclusively with the therapy team to provide knowledge and expertise in delivering appropriate wellness, fitness, and exercise programs. Receive full restorative training provided onsite. No restorative experience necessary, (CNA Certification Required) Assist in the restorative care of patients as directed. Exclusive restorative responsibilities (Ambulation, transfer training, bed mobility, active/passive range of motion, dressing/grooming, splint/prosthesis care) with limited or none of the “less desirable” tasks that often accompany a CNA position.

Qualifications:
