Job summary

Aegis Therapies is seeking a Restorative CNA - Wellness Instructor for its rehabilitation and wellness team in Richmond. You will collaborate with therapists to implement wellness programs and restorative activities, with on-site training provided.

The role requires CNA certification and prioritizes flexibility to support patient wellness goals. No prior restorative experience is necessary beyond CNA; you will work with a dedicated team and may participate in Ambulation, transfer training, and

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in state of practice.
• Preferred specialty certifications in fitness/wellness.
• Background in exercise and activity training with seniors.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver wellness, fitness, and exercise programs with therapy team.
• Receive restorative training onsite.
• Assist in restorative care of patients per plan.
• Work with a dedicated restorative caseload on ambulation, transfers, bed mobility, ROM, dressing and splint/prosthesis care.

Restorative CNA - Wellness Instructor

Job Type: Constant PRN
Schedule: 16 hours: 2 shifts 8 hours each- weekends included
Setting: Rehabilitation Center, Skilled Nursing Facility, Senior Care
Location: Richmond, IN 47374 (2 locations - 10 min apart)

As a CNA/Wellness Instructor for Restorative Care, you will:

• Report to the Director of Rehabilitation / Therapy and work exclusively with the therapy team to provide knowledge and expertise in delivering appropriate wellness, fitness, and exercise programs.
• Receive full restorative training provided onsite.
• No restorative experience necessary, (CNA Certification Required)
• Assist in the restorative care of patients as directed.
• Restorative aides day to day responsibilities will be working with a dedicated restorative caseload in/with the following programs: Ambulation, transfer training, bed mobility, active/passive range of motion, dressing/grooming, splint/prosthesis care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Current certification as Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA in state of practice.

• Background in exercise and activity training with senior populations, preferred.
