Job summary

Aegis Therapies is seeking a Wellness Instructor in Restorative Care to join our Rehab Therapy team at a skilled nursing facility in Tell City, IN. This PRN role offers flexible day shifts and the opportunity to lead wellness and exercise programs for residents.

No restorative experience is required; CNA certification is required. You will receive restorative training on site and work closely with the therapy team to support mobility, activity, and overall well-being of patients.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current certification as Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA in state of practice
• Specialty certification as personal trainer, exercise specialist, fitness instructor, health and fitness specialist or similar area, preferred.
• Background in exercise and activity training with senior populations, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Director of Rehabilitation / Therapy and work exclusively with the therapy team to provide knowledge and expertise in delivering appropriate wellness, fitness, and exercise programs.
• Receive full restorative training provided onsite.
