Job summary

BELFOR and BELFOR Franchise Group (BFG) are seeking a Project Manager to lead restoration or construction projects, serving as a resource for large, complex environments. You will work on CAT teams for hurricane and regional damage recovery, with potential to become a BELFOR estimator.

You will manage crews, coordinate vendors, and oversee projects often exceeding $1M, while ensuring safety, budget, and timelines adherence, with opportunities for growth within BELFOR.

Qualifications

• Assist other PM and Senior PMs and volunteer for CAT duty.
• Advance knowledge of technical services (Restoration track) and building codes/regulations.
• Serve as role models for Superintendents.
• Sell and upgrade additional services on assigned project.
• Communicate daily with Estimators on project status, timelines, or issues.
• Continually improve core project management skills.
• Continue training until able to complete projects on time and on budget with documented customer satisfaction.
• Construction focus—plan, coordinate, and oversee employees and subcontractors.
• Read and manage blueprints.
• Responsible for projects exceeding $1M.
• Understand and adhere to local building codes and regulatory agencies.
• Restoration focus—direct small crews of BELFOR personnel and temporary workers.
• Attend BELFOR approved training courses.
• Manage large crews and projects through crew leaders and assistants.
• Manage and document rate and material projects with PMs/Estimators.
• Supervise multiple crews on multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate thorough understanding of all BELFOR service lines.
• Construction track: understand scope, schedule work, communicate professionally, ensure safety and quality control.
• Establish core project management capabilities including time management, budgeting, scheduling, site supervision, customer contact, communication, quality control, safety, documentation and change orders.
• Review daily project requirements, document progress and notify managers of progress and challenges.
• Provide field documentation, photo logs, graphs and sketches for various projects.
• Capable of managing fixed bid and rate-and-material projects.
• Invoicing: maintain necessary documentation for BELFOR projects.
• Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections.
• Meet BELFOR standards in safeguarding property and customer service.
