Job summary

BELFOR is seeking a Project Manager with restoration or construction focus to act as industry expert on large, complex projects and regional to national resources. You will support BELFOR Cat teams after hurricanes and other regional damage recovery efforts, with potential to become an estimator.

The role emphasizes project leadership, safety, quality, and customer service across multiple sites, with travel as required and occasional night/weekend work.

Qualifications

• Assist other PM and Senior PM on CAT duty
• Advance knowledge of restoration and building codes and regulations
• Role model for Superintendents
• Sell and upgrade additional services on assigned projects
• Communicate daily with Estimators on project status and timelines
• Continually improve core project management skills
• Ensure projects are completed on time and on budget with documented customer satisfaction
• Construction focus: plan, coordinate and oversee crews and subcontractors
• Read and manage blueprints
• Manage projects exceeding $1M
• Understand local building codes and regulatory agencies
• Restoration focus: lead small crews of BELFOR personnel and temporary workers
• Attend BELFOR training courses to enhance expertise
• Manage large crews and projects through leaders and assistants
• Document rate and material projects with restoration plans

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate thorough understanding of BELFOR service lines.
• Construction track: manage scope, schedule, communicate professionally, ensure safety and quality.
• Develop core project management capabilities: time management, budgeting, scheduling, site supervision, client contact, communication, documentation, change orders.
• Advance knowledge of current and past construction practices.
• Review daily project requirements, document progress and alert managers to issues.
• Provide field documentation, photo logs, graphs and sketches for various projects.
• Maintain ability with various project types and invoicing documentation.
• Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections.
• Meet BELFOR standards for safeguarding property and customer service.
