Job summary

BELFOR Property Restoration seeks a Project Manager with restoration or construction focus to act as a subject matter expert on BELFOR CAT teams for hurricane responses and large projects. This role supports regional and national BELFOR resources across complex environments and large-scale recoveries.

The PM will develop core project management capabilities, oversee safety and quality, and coordinate with estimators. Opportunities exist to grow into BELFOR estimators over time.

• Ability to manage time, budgeting, scheduling and safety

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate thorough understanding of all BELFOR service lines.
• Construction track — understand scope, schedule work, communicate professionally, ensure project safety, and maintain quality control
• Establish core project management capabilities: time management, budgeting, scheduling, site supervision, customer contact, communication, quality control, safety, documentation, and change orders
• Advance knowledge of current construction practices
• Review daily project requirements, document progress, and notify managers of progress and challenges
• Provide field documentation, photo logs, graphs and sketches for various BELFOR projects
• Qualify vendors and subcontractors during qualification process
• Manage fixed bid and rate/material projects
• Understand BELFOR invoicing and provide necessary documentation
• Daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections
• Meet BELFOR Standards in safeguarding property
• Maintain customer service excellence
• Work under time constraints and be prepared for nights/weekends and travel
• Attend BELFOR safety training courses as required
