Job summary

Cafua Management Company is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant Manager in developing a team and delivering great guest experiences. You will help recruit, train, and schedule staff while ensuring brand standards, safety, and profitability.

Responsibilities include conducting hiring, training, inventory, and labor management, implementing action plans, and driving sales targets across the restaurant.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, or equivalent
• Must have open availability to work all shifts
• Transportation to work, banking if needed, attend all meetings and training as required
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and stand for a period of up to 6 hours
• Proficient in English

Responsibilities

• Assist to recruit, hire, onboard and develop employees, maintain staffing levels for projected sales
• Communicate job expectations to employees and ensure training is completed
• Hold team members accountable for behavior and performance
• Create and maintain a guest first culture in the restaurant
• Maintain safe, secure, and healthy environment by following safety guidelines and laws
• Ensure Brand standards, recipes and systems are executed
• Assist in action plans; implement production and guest service standards
• Review guest feedback and implement improvements
• Control costs to maximize profitability
• Adhere to security and cash handling procedures
• Demonstrate weekly inventory process and analysis
• Write effective crew schedules and monitor labor daily
• Execute new product roll-outs including training, marketing and sampling
• Drive sales goals and track results
