Job summary

Cafua Management Company is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant Manager in building a strong team and achieving profitable top-line sales. You will help develop Crew and Shift Leaders and lead staff to deliver friendly guest experiences.

Responsibilities include recruiting, training, scheduling, inventory, and ensuring safety, cleanliness, and brand standards. This role emphasizes cost control, labor management, and driving sales growth.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Capable of counting money and making change.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for 6 hours at a time.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist to recruit, hire, onboard and develop employees, maintain staffing levels for projected sales.
• Communicate job expectations and ensure training is completed per guidelines.
• Hold team members accountable for behavior and performance; address concerns promptly.
• Create and maintain a guest-first culture in the restaurant.
• Maintain safe, secure, and healthy environment following safety and sanitation guidelines; comply with laws.
• Ensure brand standards, recipes, and systems are executed including Red Book responsibilities.
• Help prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality and guest service standards.
• Review guest feedback and restaurant assessment results; implement actions to improve the system.
• Control costs to maximize profitability.
• Adhere to security and cash handling procedures.
• Demonstrate competency in weekly inventory process and analysis.
• Demonstrate competency in writing crew schedules and monitoring labor daily.
• Execute new product roll-outs including team training, marketing and sampling.
• Drive sales goals and track results.
