Job summary

Cafua Management Company in the United States is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant Manager in building a capable team and delivering friendly guest experiences while driving profitable top-line sales. You will help develop Crew and Shift Leaders, train staff per guidelines, and implement action plans to improve operations, inventory, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include recruiting and onboarding staff, enforcing training, maintaining a guest-first

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills as part of daily tasks.
• Fluent in English for guest service and team communication.
• Open availability to work all shifts as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs during duties.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, 6+ hours.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist to recruit, hire, onboard and develop employees, maintain staffing levels for projected sales.
• Communicate job expectations to employees and ensure training per guidelines.
• Hold team members accountable for behavior and performance, address concerns promptly.
• Create and maintain a guest first culture in the restaurant.
• Maintain safe, secure, and healthy environment by following safety, food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Ensure Brand standards, recipes and systems are executed including Red Book responsibilities.
• Help prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality and guest service standards.
• Review guest feedback and restaurant assessment results and implement action plans to drive improvements.
• Control costs to help maximize profitability.
• Adhere to security and cash handling procedures.
• Demonstrate competency in weekly inventory process and analysis.
• Demonstrate competency in writing effective crew schedules and monitoring labor performance daily.
• Execute new product roll-outs including training, marketing and sampling.
• Drive sales goals and track results.
