HMSHost in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Manager I to oversee QSR-style restaurant operations and ensure a clean, ready-for-business environment. You will supervise staff, assist in hiring, manage schedules, and uphold wellness and safety standards to deliver excellent guest service.

This role requires leadership with at least 2 years of food and beverage experience and a minimum of 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or kitchen. Opportunity for growth exists within HMSHost.

Qualificações

• Requires a minimum of 2 years food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Requires a minimum of 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, and communicate effectively with customers.

Responsabilidades

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within a defined unit.
• Participates in interviewing and hiring decisions, and recommends promotions or terminations to the GM.
• Assigns tasks and creates schedules to ensure shifts are covered.
• Ensures mandated rest breaks and meal periods are taken by associates.
• Keeps display areas clean, stocked, and visually appealing.
• Ensures equipment is in good working order.
• Operates cash register and follows cash handling policies.
