Job summary

Cinemark USA, Inc. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to provide hands-on leadership for restaurant operations and guest experience. You will manage Team Members and oversee service, cash handling, and compliance with brand standards.

The role requires 18+ years of age, 1–2 years of supervisory experience, and completion of Cinemark's Management Accreditation Program, plus flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum 1-2 years of restaurant supervisory experience.
• Completion of Cinemark Management Accreditation Program courses.
• Completes basic food handling training and obtains any local or state mandated certification.
• Management members who work with alcohol are required to complete a Safe Alcohol Service training program.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to recruit, train and lead others.
• Ability to resolve conflict and maintain guest service.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Trains and coaches Team Members to serve food and drinks to guests in a courteous and timely manner.
• Interacts verbally with Guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere.
• Completes assigned administrative functions.
• Ensures cash handling procedures are completed according to company and brand policy.
• Manages service of alcohol according to all state and federal laws and regulations.
• Conducts regular inventory and ordering as necessary.
• Accepts and audits deliveries.
• Adheres to budgets, increasing profits through cost managements and sales growth.
• Handles complex and challenging customer service scenarios.
• Ensures that Team Members follow the dress code.
• Learns and follows the policies and procedures as established in Cinemark’s Guidelines.
• Reports all Employee relations issues to the General Manager.
