Job summary

Cinemark is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to provide hands-on support and guidance for restaurant operations. You will lead Team Members, ensure quality service for Guests, and uphold Cinemark brand standards for timeliness and experience.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, handling cash, managing alcohol service, inventory, deliveries, and budget adherence. Requires 18+, supervisory experience, and relevant training; bilingual skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years of restaurant supervisory experience preferred.
• Complete Cinemark's Management Accreditation Program courses.
• Complete basic food handling training and any required health permits.
• Alcohol service training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Trains and coaches Team Members to serve food and drinks to guests in a courteous and timely manner.
• Interacts verbally with Guests, creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere.
• Performs assigned administrative functions.
• Follows cash handling procedures per policy.
• Manages alcohol service according to state and federal laws.
• Conducts regular inventory and ordering as necessary.
• Accepts and audits deliveries.
• Supports budgets to improve profits through cost control and sales growth.
• Handles complex customer service scenarios.
• Ensures Team Members follow dress code and Cinemark policies.
• Reports employee relations issues to the General Manager per protocol.
• Maintains high work ethic and code of conduct among management.
• Maintains cleanliness of high-contact areas and proper PPE use.
• Adapts to cleaning task frequency and scope.
• Addresses safety and security issues promptly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

High School diploma / GED

Management Accreditation Program completion
