Jersey Mike's is seeking a motivated Assistant Manager in Lakewood to partner with the General Manager in guiding daily restaurant operations and building a high-performing team. You will coach, develop, and onboard staff, lead shifts, manage labor and food costs, and ensure top-notch guest experiences while upholding Jersey Mike's standards.

Responsibilities

• Help lead all day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure an exceptional guest experience
• Coaching, developing, and motivating team members
• Assisting with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees
• Leading shifts while maintaining standards for food quality and service
• Monitoring labor, productivity, and food quality during shifts
• Assisting with inventory, orders, deliveries, and food cost controls
• Ensuring food safety, sanitation and operating standards
• Handling customer concerns professionally and resolving issues
• Supporting scheduling and restaurant performance goals
• Opening/closing the restaurant as needed
• Leading by example and fostering a positive culture
