Qualifications

• 1-2 years supervisory experience in food service.
• High school diploma; college coursework preferred.
• Must communicate effectively with employees, guests and vendors.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in planning and analyzing operations and staffing.
• Achieve planned profit levels while ensuring maximum guest satisfaction.
• Handle cash, credit cards, gift cards and payments securely.
• Plan staffing and ensure development and training of all employees.
• Recruit, train, and orient new hires with supervision.
• Attend Perkins training programs and complete coursework.
• Achieve ServSafe certification and maintain standards.
• Ensure menu items are prepared safely, accurately, and cleanly.
• Monitor food temperatures and sanitation to reduce risks.
• Schedule and staff to meet productivity and service goals.
• Manage facilities and equipment maintenance and safety.
• Maintain inventory and control costs and yields.
• Identify and fix system issues to maintain guest satisfaction.
• Prepare financial reports including payroll and expenses.
• Participate in regional meetings and present insights.
