Job summary

Perkins American Food Co. in Kissimmee, FL, seeks an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations, drive sales, and uphold company standards.

You will lead staff, ensure guest satisfaction, manage cash handling, and enforce safety and sanitation. A 1–2 year supervisory background in food service and a high school diploma are preferred; ServSafe certification is expected.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory experience in food service.
• High school diploma; some college preferred.
• Effective communication with employees, guests and vendors.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager in planning and analyzing administration and operations manpower.
• Achieve plan profit levels while ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Handle cash, credit cards, and gift cards processing.
• Participate in staffing, recruitment, training and orientation.
• Attend University of Perkins and complete coursework.
• Maintain ServSafe certification.
• Ensure items prepared, portioned, presented properly and safely.
• Oversee food temperatures to reduce risk factors of food-borne illness.
• Schedule and staff to meet productivity and service standards.
• Manage facility and equipment with safety and sanitation adherence.
• Maintain inventory and ordering procedures.
• Prepare financial reports including payroll and costs.
• Attend team meetings and present to peers.
