Job summary

Perkins American Food Co. is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations and achieving sales and profit goals. You will oversee staff, ensure guest satisfaction, and uphold company policies and standards.

You will guide team members through training, scheduling, and performance objectives while maintaining high food safety and sanitation practices across the unit.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience in food service preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in planning and analyzing restaurant operations and staffing.
• Help achieve planned profit levels while ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Ensure proper cash handling, card data security, and accurate payments.
• Assist in recruitment, training, and new hire orientation across the team.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and quality standards throughout all shifts.
