Perkins American Food Co. in Florida is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations, aiming to meet planned sales and profit targets while delivering guest satisfaction and maintaining a positive work environment.

You will supervise staff, enforce policies, assist in staffing and training, attend company courses, and ensure proper food safety, portioning, and inventory control, contributing to a smooth, high‑quality dining experience.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a service or food environment.
• High school diploma or higher.
• Strong communication skills with staff, guests, and vendors.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in planning and analyzing administration and operations manpower.
• Achieve planned profit levels while ensuring maximum guest satisfaction.
• Handle cash, credit card information, and gift cards responsibly.
• Assist in planning and analyzing restaurant unit manpower, including staff development and training.
• Assist General Manager with recruitment and onboarding of new hires.
• Attend University of Perkins courses and complete coursework.
• Maintain ServSafe certification.
• Ensure proper food preparation, portioning and safe presentation.
• Schedule and staff a sufficient number of well-trained employees to meet standards.
• Monitor inventory and manage preventive maintenance, energy, safety, and sanitation.
