Job summary

Dufry Careers is seeking a Manager I to assist branch management in operating a QSR or similar restaurant. The role ensures the restaurant is clean, staffed, and runs to high standards, using prescribed policies to guide decisions.

The Manager I will open/close and supervise associates, participate in hiring decisions, and manage shifts to maintain service quality while upholding safety and sanitation practices across the unit.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 2 years food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Requires minimum 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Must be able to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, and converse with customers.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures per company policies.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within the unit.
• Participates in interviewing and recommends personnel actions to the GM.
• Assigns work tasks, prepares schedules, ensures shifts are covered.
• Monitors compliance with health and safety guidelines and reports concerns.
