Job summary

MOD Pizza, Inc. is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Mansfield, TX to lead restaurant operations during shifts, mentor staff, and uphold MOD standards to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

You will manage deployment, training, and program rollouts while ensuring safety and quality across Front and Back of House. You will collaborate with the General Manager and team to maintain systems, handle inventory, and support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven ability to mentor, train or lead informally.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to follow and enforce processes and standards.
• Ability to stay calm during peak times.
• Must obtain food safety and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of start date.
• Proficient in written and oral communication.
• Must be available to work at least 3 shifts and 18 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the right squad member is in the right place to support guests.
• Train newly hired/promoted squad and support rollouts.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment to meet restaurant goals (online ordering, catering, fundraising, reviews).
• Use MOD tools and standards to ensure food safety in Back and Front of House.
• Listen to and resolve squad member and guest concerns; escalate when needed.
• Manage cash within the shift including making change and refunds.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed with GM support.
• Adhere to opening/midday/closing checklists and use tools to meet requirements.
• Review emails for updates from Slice and other sources for squad readiness.
