Job summary

MOD Pizza, Inc. is hiring a Shift Supervisor in Texas. You will lead restaurant operations during shifts, train new hires, and uphold MOD standards to ensure an outstanding guest experience. You will guide the squad, manage daily tasks, and support the GM in operations.

You will drive training, ensure safety, and maintain service quality while adapting to peak demand and delivering the MOD experience on every shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven mentor/trainer or informal leadership experience.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to follow and enforce processes; coaching calmly.
• Calm presence during high volume periods.
• Food safety and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• The Shift Supervisor ensures the right squad member is in position to support guests and operations.
• Train newly hired/promoted staff and support program rollouts.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment, including online ordering and customer review systems.
• Uphold MOD tools and standards to ensure food safety in Front and Back of House.
• Address guest concerns and escalate when necessary to management.
• Manage cash handling, refunds, and shift cash controls.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed with GM support.
• Follow checklists for opening, midday, and closing shifts.
• Review communications from MOD and relevant sources for squad guidance.
