Diversified Restaurant Group is seeking a Shift Manager (SM) to oversee restaurant operations on duty and deliver 5-star customer service. You will lead, coach, and develop the team through peak hours at Taco Bell locations in California, acting as MIC and ensuring policy adherence.

Requirements include 18+ years old, English proficiency, ServSafe certification, and reliable transportation. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Preferred: 6 months to 1 year of restaurant experience with leadership exposure.
• Must maintain a Health Card per state/local rules.
• Basic math and reading proficiency.
• Must read, speak, comprehend and write in English.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must pass Criminal Background Check.
• Must pass SERVSAFE Certification Course and Exam.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Physical requirements: stand/walk, lift up to 50 pounds, multi-directional motions.

Responsibilities

• Provide 5-star customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Lead, coach, and motivate team members; verify duties are completed.
• Train and develop individuals seeking leadership roles with feedback.
• Serve as MIC and ensure adherence to company policies and standards.
• Assist upper leadership with achieving restaurant financial goals.
• Communicate issues up to upper leadership promptly.
