Job summary

HMSHost in Memphis is seeking a Manager II to assist branch management in executing complex QSR or Casual Dine restaurant operations. You will ensure the restaurant is clean, staffed, prepared for business, and operated to high standards while applying prescribed policies and procedures.

The role requires 4+ years in food & beverage and supervisory experience, with strong leadership, safety, and cash handling skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years food & beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience
• Minimum 2 years supervisory or lead experience in Casual Dine restaurant or production kitchen
• Ability to read, speak and comprehend instructions and policy documents, and converse with customers

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per company policies
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within a defined unit or group of restaurants or POS points
• Ensures compliance with AB policies and procedures in all staff
• Participates in hiring decisions and staff promotions with GM input
• Assigns tasks, assists in scheduling, ensures shifts are covered
• Ensures mandated breaks and meal periods are taken
• Maintains cleanliness and visual appeal of display areas
• Ensures equipment is in good working order
• Operates cash register and handles transactions per cash policies
• Monitors wellness and safety procedures and reports concerns
• Performs Health and Safety activities as per Manager’s Guide
• Places orders for units, receives goods, processes invoices
• Maintains current contact information for all associates
