Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Manager II to support branch management in executing complex QSR or casual dine restaurant operations. The role ensures the unit is clean, prepared for service, staffed, and run to high standards, using HMSHost policies to guide decisions.

You will help in interviewing and scheduling, supervise staff, adhere to health/safety guidelines, and manage cash handling and food service procedures. On-site, with varied shifts, this role offers growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in food & beverage, cash handling, and customer service.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory or lead experience in Casual Dine or production kitchen.
• Ability to read, understand instructions, and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Open, operate, and close the restaurant per HMSHost procedures.
• Supervise day-to-day activities of associates within the unit.
• Enforce health, safety, and alcohol service policies and AB procedures.
• Participate in hiring, scheduling, and performance decisions with GM.
• Assign tasks, prepare schedules, and ensure full shift coverage.
• Ensure breaks and meals are taken as mandated.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and appealing displays.
• Ensure equipment is in good working order and cash handling is secure.
• Monitor wellness and safety procedures and report concerns to GM.
• Understand and perform Health and Safety activities per policy.
