HMSHost in Arlington, VA is seeking a Manager II to assist branch leadership in executing complex QSR or casual dine restaurant operations. You will ensure the restaurant is clean, staffed, and prepared for service, applying company policies and safety standards to drive high performance.

This role requires at least 4 years in food and beverage with supervisory experience, strong guest service skills, and the ability to supervise shifts, manage schedules, and oversee cash handling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years food & beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory or lead experience in a Casual Dine restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions and policy documents; communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Open, run, and close procedures per company policies.
• Supervise day-to-day activities of associates across units.
• Ensure compliance with AB policies and safety procedures.
• Assist in interviewing, hiring, and staff promotion decisions.
• Schedule creation and adequate shift coverage.
• Ensure cleanliness, stock, and visual merchandising.
• Operate cash register and manage cash handling securely.
• Monitor wellness and safety and report concerns.
• Place orders, receive goods, process invoices.
• Maintain current contact information for associates.
