Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Manager I (MGRI) at Tampa Airport F&B to support branch management in QSR-style operations. The role ensures a clean, ready-for-business restaurant, staffed and operating to high standards. The MGRI uses company policies to guide decision-making and daily execution.

The position reports to the GM or Operations Director and requires a varied, rotating schedule on-site, with openings, peak periods and closures. Eligible for standard HMSHost benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 2 years food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Requires minimum 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and policy documents; communicate effectively with customers.

Responsibilities

• Opens, runs daily and closes procedures/checklists per policies.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within unit.
• Participates in hiring input and scheduling; ensures shifts are covered.
• Monitors rest breaks and meal periods; maintains clean, stocked display areas; ensures equipment is in good condition.
• Operates cash register and follows cash handling policies; maintains cash security.
• Ensures health and safety activities per Health and Safety guidelines.
• Places orders, receives goods, processes invoices; maintains contact info for associates.
