Job summary

HMSHost International in Tampa, FL, seeks a Manager I (MGRI) to support branch management in QSR or restaurant operations. The role ensures the restaurant is clean, prepared for service, staffed, and operated to high standards, using prescribed policies to guide decisions.

You will open, run, and close the unit while supervising team members, participating in hiring decisions, and maintaining health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 2 years food and beverage experience.
• Requires a minimum of 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents.

Responsibilities

• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per company policies.
• Supervise day-to-day activities of associates within a defined unit.
• Assist in interviewing and provide input on hiring, promotions, and terminations to the GM.
• Assign tasks, prepare schedules, and ensure all shifts are covered.
• Ensure all breaks and meals are taken by associates as mandated.
• Keep display areas clean, stocked, and visually appealing.
• Ensure all equipment is in good working order and maintained.
• Operate cash register and handle transactions per HMSHost cash policies.
