Job summary

Avolta at Newark Airport F&B Term B is seeking a Manager I to assist the branch in tactically running QSR-style restaurant operations. You will ensure the restaurant is clean, ready for business, staffed, and operates to high standards by following prescribed policies.

The role includes opening/closing duties, supervising associates, assisting in hiring and scheduling, and maintaining safety and cash handling protocols while reporting to the GM.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years food & beverage, cash handling and customer service experience.
• Minimum 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and policy documents, and converse comfortably with customers.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists as per policies.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within the unit.
• Participates in hiring decisions and schedules planning.
• Assigns work tasks and ensures shifts are covered.
• Monitors wellness and safety procedures and reports safety concerns to the GM.
• Places orders and processes invoices for the unit.
