Job summary

HMSHost at JFK Airport is seeking a Manager II to assist branch management in executing complex QSR or casual dining operations. You will ensure the restaurant is clean, ready for business, staffed, and operates to high standards.

The role guides scheduling, training, health and safety, and compliance with beverage policies; you will monitor cash handling, inventory, and vendor relations while reporting to the GM.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 4 years food & beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Requires a minimum of 2 years supervisory or lead experience in a Casual Dine restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to speak, read and understand instructions, and converse with customers.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within unit(s).
• Ensures compliance with AB policies and health standards.
• Participates in interview process and staffing decisions.
• Creates schedules and ensures shifts are covered.
• Monitors mandated breaks and meal periods.
• Maintains clean, stocked, and visually appealing displays.
• Ensures equipment is in good working order.
• Handles cash and follows cash handling policies.
• Adheres to wellness and safety guidelines and reports concerns.
• Performs Health & Safety activities as per policy.
• Places and processes orders and manages invoices.
